About Us
In its earliest form, Healers Unite started as a group of friends who regularly exchanged Reiki in the back of a holistic wellness store.  At first, their practices were observed from a distance by shoppers, but soon enough several wanted to join in and learn more about what they were doing and why they were doing it.

It was during those informal gatherings that it became very apparent to the healing league that the questions and concerns they had were the same that all holistic healers have. 

By and large, the public lacks genuine understanding and knowledge of what holistic healing is all about. In fact, it has become very apparent that even well intentioned holistic healers have a limited understanding of the history and purpose of the very practices they are performing.

Healers Unite is committed to serving as an educational and informational network for the holistic community. Unlike many of the wonderful holistic organizations that already exist, our goal is to heal the healer so that we can heal the world.  We pledge to continue to learn and share this new knowledge with those who desire it as freely as possible.  True holistic healers understand that healing is our birthright and those of us who choose to walk the path of the healer need to heal everyone, regardless of circumstances.

However, healers need to remember that in order to heal others, they need to heal themselves, too.  That's why Healers Unite offers free distance healing, intentional prayer, and other holistic and spiritual therapies for free to all its healing members who ask. 

In addition, many holistic organizations do not meet the needs of the new healer or student just beginning the journey. Our membership fees are affordable and offer a wide array of benefits that more than outweigh the modest membership fee.  Also, with benefits such as listing in our directory and referral opportunities, both new and established professionals have convenient, no-hassle advertising at their fingertips.
